Travel
through time with the Legend of Robin Hood screensaver!
Now
when you leave your computer, Robin Hood, Little John, Maid Marian and
the rest can guard it for you.
By
downloading the file below, you can watch 600 years of legend flash across
your monitor. The journey begins with woodcuts used to illustrate early
ballads. Next it's a Victorian painting by Daniel Maclise. Then classic
children's book illustrations by Howard Pyle and Louis Rhead appear. After
that it's time for a tour of Robin Hood on film and television with pictures
of Douglas Fairbanks, Errol Flynn, Richard Todd, Richard Greene, Sean Connery,
Michael Praed, Jason Connery, Patrick Bergin and Kevin Costner. Your tour
concludes with a glimpse of Robin Hood's grave at Kirklees.
The
movie and television pictures are used without permission, but this is
a non-profit screensaver. Photo credits are listed in the file.
Once
you've downloaded the file, all you have to do is unzip it, and run the
program. It will install itself.
